all I want for Christmas

Now that it's the 22nd, I figure it's too late for any of my loved ones to order and ship any of the items that made the following wishlist in time for Christmas.

So, guilt-free
(i.e. not feeling like a douche for giving your friends and family a wishlist; particularly one composed of pricey stuff)
& with no further ado, i give you:

my christmas list

The idea is simple: a frame for the action and space for the notes, story, dialog, stage directions, enemies lists, etc. Best of all, it's affordable @ 3 for $10 via thestoryboardbook.com.

A Labokoff print or his breathtaking 2010 calendar is one of the most would-be coveted gift's I can imagine. The French artist' new photographic painting body "Pole Series" tops my list of drool-worthy items for the year. Best of all, his work is affordable with 1' x 1' prints going for just 50-something bucks. Check his etsy out for more.

A Julie Morstad illustration would be nice, too.

or a Rob Tarbell print... especially a Rob Tarbell print.

A good Scotch is always a nice surprise. Wouldn't mind getting my hands on a Douglas Laing bottle. The labeling is hand written and the scotch, well, two words:
'Rare' & 'Macallan'.
Need I say more?

The Post Family introduced me to this lovely calendar from catsletnothingdarkentheirroar .
(shew; what a mouthful.)

Loving the Cuboctaedro line by CuadernoBandada's Ana Maria Ramirez & Ariana Diaz.

My fiance gifted me a beautiful cast iron tea set from Teavana for Christmas last year. This year, however, I didn't have the heart to tell him my heart was set on this bright red Judith Weber number.

These porcelin knobs by Casalinga are too cute. Handmade by Danish Craftswoman Trine Weng, the best part is that they're attainable at only 9.00 a pop!

Hygge & West, a personal favorite among online Interior boutiques, is selling samples bundles of their darling wallpapers! 8.5 x 27" samples of some of their newest design & other patterns are available for only $5 each; and shipping is FREE! I imagine one could make all sorts of cute craft products from these.

Nathalia Ponomareva of Russia designed these origami inspired tea bags for Green Berry Tea. While the tea held within the bird is infused the form of the bird gradually expands. magnifique.

Ahem. The Incredible Journey That Is Consciousness by Alex Fuller & Gabe Usadell.

This business card sized note card stole my heart. Hand pressed lead type green ink on green paper. Comes with it's own golden envelope. 2.50 @ Post Family. Check them out for more eye candy.

"The Basket, a unique concept car set to debut at this year’s Tokyo Motor Show, is one of the few cars unveiled at the show that brings retro styling cues to mind. While most manufacturers are packing new cars with as much as they can find, the Basket is extremely minimalist. The no-nonsense interior is sparse, and covered with fabric throughout, save for an oversized speedometer and the radio. The theme continues outside, where Daihatsu’s boxy contraption gives it a “that’s easy to paraller park” look. The Basket has forsaken fuel-cell or even hybrid technology in favor of a 660cc three-cylinder, borrowed from the Mira. Although The Basket might not be for everyone, its cute, quirky, and retro feel will bring smiles to would-be owners." -Swipe Life

Love, Love, Love the works of Rob Tarbell. The images in Tarbell's latest project, Smokes, are created by "capturing smoke on paper, as evidence of a transformation and preservation of the ephemeral. During the process, credit cards, grocery cards... photos, and slides of my artwork are burned to remove their growing presence in daily life..." and to create some pretty amazing and haunting images.

Scott Wilson's Fulton Lounge chair, hailing from the same Chicago manufacturer as the Eames Lounge chair is a new fave; AND it comes in a rocker! Thanks Post Family.

Vauni - Cupola has created this chic and modern alternative to the traditional fireplace. At first, I thought the most amazing thing about this product was that no flue was required; it can be mounted to any wall. The fact that it burns off of Eco-Flame bio-ethanol, an enviromentally friendly product, just might make this a must if i ever win the lottery and buy that mountain cottage in Sweden.
(currently, Eco-Flame bio-ethanol can only be shipped to locals within Sweden, the design co's home base)

This should make things easier; thanks to the Bureau of Communication.
